HEAVEN!

Today, I get to preach on HEAVEN!  Do you know most people don’t even think about heaven these days?  Most people don’t even talk about heaven either. That amazes me because Heaven will be our final stopping point where we’ll get to spend all eternity with Jesus Christ.  So, my goal today with the help of the Holy Spirit is to whet your spiritual appetite about the literal place called Heaven. Jesus said, He was going to prepare a place for me, and for us and that He would come back one day and take me/us to that place He has prepared, Heaven. Now if Jesus said it, then I believe it to be true. He’s never made a promise He didn’t keep and I’m looking forward to that time when I can call Heaven my eternal home. Oh wait a minute, I can call Heaven my home because I have placed my trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. With that being the case, the Bible tells me that my name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I have the right paperwork, I have the right documentation, I have my spiritual passport to get into Heaven. It’s not because of what I’ve done, but only because of what Jesus did on the Cross by giving His life so that I might have eternal life with Him.
